We are seeking a director of DMPK to support drug discovery efforts for the treatment of cancer.
The primary responsibilities are to lead a team of scientists providing both in vitro and in vivo DMPK support for cancer drug discovery efforts in the setting of an innovative and fully integrated biotech organization with a focus on translational research.
The primary responsibilities are to lead a team of scientists providing both in vitro and in vivo DMPK support for cancer drug discovery efforts in the setting of an innovative and fully integrated biotech organization with a focus on translational research.
This candidate is expected to contribute to all phases of the preclinical drug discovery process using both internal resources and external collaborations where appropriate. In addition, the candidate will work closely with the pharmacology group to develop innovative approaches to pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling in animal models of cancer.
Requirements:
¡¤ Deep understanding of in vitro and in vivo DMPK techniques and their relationship to drug discovery and development with an emphasis on quantitative bioanalytical methodology
¡¤ Proven track record gained in the pharmaceutical or CRO environment
¡¤ Prior experience with predictive pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling desirable
¡¤ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers across multiple areas of expertise both inside and outside of Beigene Bio
¡¤ Experience in managing scientists in a research organization
¡¤ Excellent analytical and organizational skills
¡¤ Excellent communications skills ¨C bilingual in English and Chinese
¡¤ PhD degree required
