In the past USCACA 2010 Annual meeting, Dr. Wei Zhang was elected as 2nd President for USCACA. 

Dr.  Wei Zhang is a Professor of Pathology and Cancer Biology, and Director of Cancer Genomics Core Laboratory in the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.  

From June 16 to June 21, 2009, a delegation of cancer researchers from USA was invited to participate in varied scholastic activities in China. The group consisted of experts in the gastrointestinal cancer researchers from Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Dr. Janet Houghton, senior editor of Cancer Research), University of Kentucky Cancer Center (Dr.

November, 2009, the USCACA Ph1 delegation paid their first visit to China. Delegates included representatives of 3 top Ph1 oncology drug research centers in the US, Dr. George Wilding, Director of Carbone Cancer Center at the University of Wisconsin (UWCCC), Dr. Anthony Tolcher, Chief Medical Officer of South Texas Accelerated Research Therapy (START), and Dr. Igor Puzanov, Deputy Director of Ph1 center at Vanderbilt University. Gina Mangold, Chief Operation Officer of START and Dona Alberti, Associate Director of UWCCC joined the delegation.
